Brakes question

hey guys
i have a Alpine White 335xi coupe, i kind of noticed that when i had my windows down and depressing on my brakes all the way mad these strange ticking noises from the brakes, any idea what it is?

Ticking noises? You're sure it's not just the ABS sound?

well it makes the sound only when i press on the brakes
i have no clue about the ABS sound lol?

hahaha I think the color of your car is making the noises!

it could be a few things

1) loose brake pads
2) pistons of the caliper engaging
3) warped rotors
4) pad deposits
5) stone in ur caliper

i only have 12k on it
ill visit my dealer my dealer when i take it for service it says next service is at 3k lol

The ABS set in when you break so much that the wheels would normally stop rotating. The ABS keeps the wheels in motion so you can steer while breaking hard.

Though I think the ABS sound isn't so much of a ticking sound. More of a drumming.

But I think it's a good idea to let the dealer check it out anyhow.
