Style 199 weight.
Just recieved my style 199 wheels. Have seen questions about style 199 weight so i weighed them. Wheels look awesome in metal.
Front wheel without tire (19x8) 31 lb 14kg Rear wheel without tire (19x9) 34 lb 15.5kg

The 199 wheels look great indeed!
What kind of tires did you get, RFT or normal? We just recieved Style 161s with Bridgestone RFTs and they feel quite heavy. Should have gone with the normal tires instead. |

Normal,Eagle F1 GS-D3, F 235 35 R 265 30. Getting them installed next week.

I was seriously thinking of getting these wheels until I saw this thread. 34 lbs for the rear wheels!!!!!! I'm not going to spend $500 a wheel only to have wheels that are HEAVIER than the stock 18" sport wheels (162's). Argh! |

Yeah, I weighed my stock 162 wheel at 32.2 lbs.
But still, adding rotational mass is not what I'd want to do. If I'm going to spend money on something, it has to be a benefit, not a hinderance...especially when it comes to all around performance (steering, handling, braking, and accelerating.) I was hoping, they were the same weight or a touch less. Oh well, still looking. |
