Best and Cheapest Interior LED kit and License Plate LEDs
I know the relationship between the best and the cheapest are usually inversely related but what are the best full interior led kits? And license plate LEDs?
I was looking at the sonic tuning kit and it seems ok. What kits do you guys have and what'd they cost you? Post or link pics if possible. Thanks everyone! Last edited by gtabfknkdnme; 02-01-2011 at 03:06 PM.. |

Just installed mine about 2 weeks ago. VERY VERY easy to install, even for someone whos never done any installs before.
My friend ordered the e92lighting kit, he should have it installed by end of week I can let you know how it looks. The rdash and mtec license plate led's are good options if you want something BRIGHT. If you want something not too bright and just a whiter output I would get some cheap ebay error free license plate led's and they should do the trick.

Here's a picture of my license plate lights.
They're racing dash license plate lights I got from Derrick @ E92-lighting. Very bright and don't trigger any codes! |

I just received the led kit from e92-lighting, haven't installed them yet. The brand of these LEDs is khoalty, is that what everyone else got? I remember seeing this brand before and they had their own website.

I just installed my rdash license plate LEDs yesterday, here's a few pieces of info for those in the market:
They look beautiful. Very bright white light with a hint of blue. They're brighter and look better than the Lexus LEDs. What sucked about these was the fitment though. The flexible metal clips were on the flimsy side and not secured in they're slot. So they both sagged a little in that side and looked like crap. On top of that one of the clips came off and is one rattling around in my trunk. When I opened my trunk and closed it they both fell out of place, so what I did was silicon that side if them and now the fitment is flush and they don't move. Overall I'm glad I picked these up, they look great but didn't have oem quality or fitment. I'll be installing my interior led kit today from sonic tuning. I'll write my review when I'm done. |

I just installed my interior LED kit from Sonic Tuning and I definitely recommend their kit. Great price and the LED's are super bright. Also Jose was very helpful with any questions I had. The kit has a nice blue/white touch to the color. I am going to do a review once I install some other mods this weekend.

The only hard part is the front dome. It gets really tight trying to reach the clips to release the dome. It almost feels like your going to break the headliner. Also make sure you unplug the glovebox light completely before installing the bulb. It can/will blow a fuse. |
