# comfort access keyless entry # dynamic cruise control # fold down rear seats w/ski bag # premium package # sport package # steptronic 40k miles, the car is CPO, list for $25k, how much should I offer, i am thinking $22,500 -$23,000 OTD, any adivse? thanks in advance Last edited by bimmerf8n; 11-25-2009 at 09:11 PM.. |

Just got back from dealer, offered $23,900 OTD, no deal, best they can do is $24,950 OTD, walk out, not my 1st choice color (looking for an alpine white), seems like the CPO market is hot especially for an 330i, dwindling supply and color choices

I lucked out on my 330i. I started looking in Oct of 08. I thought it was going to take me at least a min of six months to find a manual 330i SG. I found one in Nov of 08. It was the only one on the lot that was manual. Not even the hot 40 something sales rep didn't know how to drive stick. I'll never forget the first time I took it for a test drive. It felt so powerful and solid like a tank. I ended up getting it for $28,500. According to the BMW dealer it was not a common car that everyone wanted. It came with Nav/idrive, sports package, rear folding shade ( not really a common feature I care about). I think you did the right thing by walking out. If you are not about 75% into a used car then forget about it. For a used car you have to live with somethings you didn't want. I didn't care for the wood trim. I wanted the brushed metal trim. After a short while the wood trim grew on me. Good luck finding you 330i

It's a good deal at their asking price since it is CPO. The market is shrinking up on lease return 330i's and we are starting to see 335i lease returns that are running about 3-4 k more versus a comparable 330i. If you can live with the color you may want to keep it in mind.

Yeah, impossbile to find one with just the right combo, had to compromise. Been looking for an CPO alpine white, black leather, alum trim with 6sp MT, might as well be looking for an unicorn, LOL.
I was actually tempted to go with 07 335i, with first 2 payments by BMW, the difference is even less. But the kinks and problems of 07 scares me, not to mention the yet unproven long term reliabilty of turbos. I will stick to a 330i, best of the E9X series, lighter on its feet, sharper throttle response and the more involving and sportier drive than 335i, I could live without the big thrust of the turbos, I know the turbo owner would think otherwise, just my 2 cents. |

I agree on the compromise with a CPO car, getting exactly what you want for the price is TOUGH! I searched for about 8 months only because I was not planning on buying. I was just scoping out the market to get an idea of what I was looking at when I came across the car I ended up buying. I sacrificed heated seats and the 6FL (ipod integration) to get TiAg, sport, premium, black leather, and with only 9k miles on an '06 (this past Aug). Its all about sacrifice when buying used!

Picked up my 330i on Aug 28th of this year and paid $26k for it. Yeah, it sounds high but it had less than 10k miles on it and looked brand new in every way...inside, outside, and engine bay. Besides that, it still had the full factory warranty until Oct 2010. I was not too concerned with the CPO because of the whole package.... It has sport, premium, and steptronic tranny.

Don't spend a lot of time here. Mostly you'll find me on the 'fest. I just became a member of the '06 E90 330i club. Sadly, I'm leaving the '04 330i ZHP mafia. I've wanted an '06 E90 with its N52 engine since they came out, but it is hard to give up my Imola Red w/ Natural Brown leather ZHP. It is for sale now. The E90 has Active Steering which is kind of cool (after a little getting used to) and folding rear seats, which I wanted. And I love the color - Sonora. Though it's not quite as stunning as Imola Red. Got the E90 non-CPO, but from a BMW dealer, with 54k miles for $21,000 and picked up a third party exclusionary warranty for 5yr/72k miles from inception for $2,475.
Coming ..................... Going (not sure why the pics are coming out so big, but I'm too tired right now to worry about it. You'll just get a better view. ) |

I got an 06 330i CPO back in July and paid $25,300. It's TiAg/Black with premium and cold weather and 32K miles.

I got mine in June, and I had been looking since March, even as far as Texas (I'm in CA). I was in LA for school and I REALLY lucked out last minute right at graduation, before I was set to move back to the Bay Area. Found basically the exact car I wanted, except PDC, about an hour away from LA. Got it for $25,200 (~$28k OTD) with the 0.9% financing.
