Next tire size increase??

What tire size increase will fit with no rubbing for the following:

2013 335is
E93 convertible
Front: Style 313 18 in x 8 in rim (225/40/18)
Rear: Style 313 18 in x 8.5 in rim (255/35/18)

If spacers are needed to upgrade tire size, any thoughts on the spec for this as well.

Thank you -
Bruce

I went with 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 on my E92 with Style 189.

Are your rims the same specs (diameter, width, offset) as the Type 313 I referenced - thanks so much.

Have you noted any changes in handling, performance, rubbing, speedometer readings or RPM reading changes perhaps due to the minor change in tire size changes? It may have incrementally changed the tire's rolling radius which could change MPH and RPM readings on your dashboard?

We had run flat tires on our 2011 328 xDrive and hated them; very noisy, harsh ride due to extremely stiff side walls, very heavy, VERY expensive; my (new to me) 335is E93 convertible has run flat tires due to the trunk being utilized to store the hardtop when it is opened; am considering at the next tire change to replace with non-run flat tires and purchase this:https://www.grainger.com/product/AIR...pressor-41P298

you shouldn't go any wider on those rims … tires will not have optimal sidewall support from the rim

The 8" on the front will take a 235 width.
That's only useful if RWD, because the 8.5" rear shouldn't have anything wider than 255.
