BMW e90 Pre-LCI Sedan Sport PKG Fitment Question

Does anyone know what to do about inner fitment for the front tires on a Pre-LCI Sedan? I'm trying to run 265's on 8.5" rims, but it hits the spring seat. Spacers make it poke badly, and it'd clear everything else if that spring seat weren't so large. Does anyone have any suggestions, such as a specific aftermarket coil over or something else?

265 is too big. What is the offset of the wheels? Are these 17"?

This is a great guide for what fits.

If you're outside of those recommendations, you're going to need to get a smaller tire (and use a wheel with proper offset). Swapping the entire suspension system out is an option, but you'd need to move to 60mm or 2.5" springs.

Mind you, this diameter is only available with coilover kits, and that adds a lot of cost and complexity. Contrary to what many people think, it's not as simple as slapping the coilovers on and spinning the perches until things look cool. Every aspect of suspension geometry changes, including bushing preload, rake, and weight balance. It's a lot of expense and effort to do right simply to fit a tire that's too big for the car.

Is this a track car?

The plan is to track it, can a coilover with a smaller spring & spring seat not be a simple solution? The offset is ET15

How much track time do you have? Maybe start with a 225 on 8's and as you get more experience then make the jump to a bigger foot print.
