Exactly - this is how that guy got into the unfortunate situation in the first place probably. Someone saw Atlantis Blue and corrected to the one-letter-off Atlantic Blue. Paint code always best, but does help to leave the Blue off .

Actually, I'm confused because I thought it was "Atlantis Metallic" too, paint code 399. I see a lot of Atlantis Blue references in that Color Code list but maybe they are all wrong or it changed.

"Ägäisch Blau" - "Aegean Blue" is registered as BMW color code 557 from 1996 (see here).

Thank you for finding it Artemis! Maybe they can update the paint list with the additional information that I posted.

Bonus for you: your BMW color code 336 in 1998.

So it looks like "Aegean Blue" got BMW color codes 336 and 557.

Confirmation of Aegean Blue (336) on the current BMW Individual visualizer! I can sleep well now, knowing it's still available.

While clicking into random threads I see this. Now I'm curious to see how my Z4H LSB looks next to a Z1M and also an original 448 LSB.

Same! We need to line 'em up! I've got the original 448. Only need the other two.

I do think mine looks a little off, though still recognizable as LSB

PS: Looks like FB won't let me link images anymore, probably cause over bandwidth
PPS: There were a bunch of "M-Performance 335i" in 14 and 15 that came in LSB. I'm curious what colour codes those guys have.

Which LSB paint code do you have? Model year?

Is it DCT or 6MT?

2018 6MT, I think the code is Z4H. I'll double check later.

When I ordered the car, it was Z4H on the order sheet. I just checked under the hood and it says 448.

Question

Hello BMW enthusiasts,

Does anyone know what the II means in BMW paint names?

For example: Tanzanite Blue II Metallic

Could also meanssome change was made to the paint system. The original Dakar Yellow was a single stage paint, Dakar Yellow II (current) is a two stage base + clearcoat paint system.

Haha, you mean when they couldn't paint our cars correctly?
