stripped oil filter housing bolt

I have on a e39 and what I did was got a threaded rod that was to length and used a nut, depending on how you stripped the threads obviously. Otherwise you may need to drill and tap it.

I think you'll get more help if you post in the "general" section rather than the classifieds. IIRC those bolts are aluminum. I've had a few aluminum bolts shear off on my N52 and I used a left handed drill bit on them and they came right out.
