Yeah from all reports reliability is flat out embarrassingly good compared to germans. There are guys in Australia running 1000+ HP at drag strips and they JUST KEEP GOING.

there is alot of R&D behind the platform thanks to people constantly drag racing them, breaking things, and fixing them.

FBO vs FBO it makes about the same power to weight as an f80. roll races are usually somewhat close. It is reliable if you build it correct, after 600wtq the tranny has issues and the rods may bend.

it costs about $5k to have a reliable 600-650whp
it costs about $35-40k to have a reliable 1000hp

My brothers is 1300 and the thing just takes a beating and destroys everything around. You don't buy a GTR for interior. Lol. You buy it to go really fucking fast and to smoke every Turdstang/Camaro/Vette and lots of street bikes🤣😉. Try riding in one and do some rolling boost hits and I guarantee you, you will not worry about the interior

I get why people do this, but damn, the prices of admission is Porsche high. I just can't see buying a GTR with 1300 hp vs a Porsche 911. Maybe it's just me.

I’m too old to care about smoking Camaros. No glorious NA symphony = not interested. But that’s just me.

Best sounding cars I’ve owned were the MK4 single turbo Supras and the C7 z06. Idk what sounded better. Both amazing in their own right

I have driven a few trying to want one, but the clunky trans, outdated subpar (For the $) interior etc make it a hard pass for me. I do not understand why they are so much $.

If a clean example with decent miles was about $40k or less, it's a solid DD IMO

Not just you. You have to be an extreme GT-R fanboy to pay this kind of $ for one
