For the fronts yes F3x 340mm or 370mm will bolt straight on. For the rears it all depends on what specification your handbrake is. If you watch the videos I put a link to at the top of this page it goes through all the different options.

Help w/ 2011 335d Setup

I'm not above asking for help on this before pulling the trigger.

I have a 2011 335d with m sport package. The goal is to obtain the F3x Performance Brake kit with minimal modification. I'd like to make sure everything doesn't rub with the 18" winter set on. I've seen mixed info as to whether or not that is possible.

Are there are reputable kit suppliers? Would love to be able to spec out a refinished set of calipers but it seems like prices are all over the board.

Thanks.

You need to post the wheel style/ID and maybe some members on here can tell you if the 370mm setup will fit under your 18's.

For sourcing the calipers you pretty much need to fine someone selling a set used, or buy a brand new set.

18" 193's for the winter, 19" 269's for the summer.

Just to be clear

or those with smaller e-brake/parking brake - ie E90/E92 328i
34206797605(160mm HB) - F30/F20 Blanks

should work on my 328 as a direct replacement for the rear with stock calipers? nothing else needed?

Im sorry but i havent read all 100 pages of this post but i would like to share my research and would like to ask few questions.
I had the F30 calipers in my possession for a few years now and finally decided to finish this.

Now, im only asking about REARs for now, in other threads there is mention that inserts are different for F30 and E60 rotors - ???? - BMW E9X Eccentric inserts, bushes for F30 rear caliper.

According to my research:
F30 -345/24 offset 66.2mm
E60 - 345/24 offset 63.2mm

^Dont a person WANT an E60 rotor that the rotor surface be further away from the caliper mount point on spindle? (I think that is why some people had to shave calipers to center them on rotor, by using F30 rears)

But how is the insert might be different is very strange to me as they are identical dimension...?

Also, does anyone knows where to purchase this inserts for a decent price?

Just watch the YouTube videos I posted on page 94 of this thread. They contain everything you need to know, plus the guy also sells the inserts which is where I got mine from.

Agree, and all info in here and multiple ways to do it. I did it w no inserts and just some light machining, which you will see in there too - mustard yellow calipers on mine.

Best bang for buck upgrade to date!

Cheers, and Happy Friday lads, and ladies if we got some female gear heads here too.

I do, some noise but not bad. Only hear it once next to concrete barrier. And window down.

I wonder what you guys consider not bad lol? I drive by walls, buildings, high sidewalks, cars and I can hear it all the time. I am super anal about noises though.

I know nothing is rubbing because I checked everything 1000x during the past year and even painted some parts white to see if anything was making contact with anything, and no worn off paint anywhere on any backing plates/dust shields or anything.

I just bit the bullet and bought all 4 new smooth disc, thought I could ignore it but I can't...

Anyone want a set of slotted and dimpled rotors for cheap?

Great thread! and im seriously considering picking up the performance brake kit for my E92. Was just wondering if anyone has knowledge if the 370mm brake kit will fit with the style 193 wheels? The fronts might be the issue due to the larger rotor/caliper.

I believe the specs are:
Front Wheel:
18 x 8 ET 34
Rear Wheel:
18 x 8.5 ET 37
