Help think I lost my vanos solenoid o ring inside

I was taking out both intake and exaust solonoids the o ring was stuck inside the whole I tried to take it out and I think I might of pushed it in that or hopefully just fell into my engine bay I can't see it what can I do will the floating o ring fuk my engine up please help and advice will be helpful thanks

I imagine a ring would get chewed up and spit into all kinds of places it probably shouldn't that probably won't be good for the engine

Check the splash guard under tray it probably just went all the way down

A chewed up o-ring probably won't do much to your engine truthfully. I've dropped 100's of oil pans in my life (to change the gaskets) and I've witnessed all types of chewed up crap that didn't harm anything. Just my 2 cents though..

That's good to hear actually. I guess an o-ring is pretty tiny compared to some other things.

Thanks for the input guys but I was able to get the little fucker out lol I bought a Milwaukee flexible hose camera and found it inside the cam chain drive and was able to snake it out using mechanics wire lucky grab I guess haha
