Thumbs up E92 328xi Shooting flames..

Hello everyone! I have achieved flames on my stock motor N52 328xi E92. I have a full straight pipe (catless headers back) with a tune from Bimmer Performance Center with a WOT Box which I think is pretty unique to this car. My 328xi with 225,300 miles on it is out there shooting flames LOL. I will attach videos. I hope I posted this in the correct section.

But my end goal was achieved and my 328xi with 225,300 miles on it is out there shooting flames. I will attach videos. I hope I posted this in the correct section. My only wish is that I hope I can buy bigger injectors, for well bigger flames. If anyone know of any quality upgraded injectors I'd really appreciate it. Here are the videos: https://youtu.be/ewDc2xW2lQE
Congrats..

LOL. That must be obnoxious and loud as hell, while being overtaken by Camrys.

Damn idk what anyone here is talking about. Thats badass. I wanna be able to shoot flames just like that. I'm working on the catless headers and I'll probably find someone to do a custom tune.

Haha as long as your build makes you happy I hope you can achieve that. Gotta live while you're young. Do you have an n52?

Hey, for reference, I grew watching reruns of campy Batman as well as Michael Keaton Batman. They always had jet flames flying from the Batmobile.

328xi 6MT, 4500$ of a hardworking summer. No reason to hate when you can't get a single fact right.

The G.O.A.T. I don't care what anyone says, I have been waiting for this moment for a long time - even if all the N54 fanboys and their flames come to the NA section to roast you... One small step for man, one giant leap for NA-kind!

I spit flames when I downshift and floor it. That's just a result being catless and having a tune.

Thinking about getting the BPC tune for N52 and purchasing AA headers... would this yield the same results? Or would I have to get a custom tune that makes the A/F mixture run on the richer side? (I already have my secondary cats removed)

Funny,

My current Z will fart and pop on a stock tune and frankly I hate it. The rumble on the floorboards just feels wrong to me. With the top down it just does not have the "grace" that I expected.

While I have enough to torque down low and don't need to downshift as much I find myself not wanting to wake up the dead every time I feel frisky and stay in higher gears.

I'm glad we all have different "tastes".

I don't see why not. I have the N51.

Headers would be better than my setup if you have the money. Those headers aren’t cheap. I had my headers removed, hollowed out, and put back on for less than half the price of those headers. You could do it yourself but I didn’t want to risk breaking a stud on my headers. I just have my front cats hollowed out. And yes Bob at BPC made a custom tune for me. You will shoot flames with no tune every once in a while with headers and full straight exhaust, but it won’t be anything like those flames.

Lemme add this to the list of things I like as long as someone else owns it.

Good examples of that list include turbo rotary engines and a VW Passat W8.

Also if you want bigger injectors you can look at S65 ones - pretty sure this is what the ESS supercharger kit uses.
