Will do and get back...

My uncle races that track quite often with his buddies. This is the car he uses on the track

Did I read HK$12k just to take the car to the track and not driving? I wish someday I'll move back to HK and continue to have some track day fun. That price is a crazy, even including one track day.

Does BMW HK cover any maintenance? In US we got 4 years freebie, oil changes and brake pads included.

BMWHK is a total ripoff. Only first year is fully covered by the dealer. Beginning the second it's on the manufacturer. Come the third you're entirely on your own, except for blatant manufacturing-related defects (and that's obviously a high bar to pass). On top of all this BS, the HK dealer doesn't cover a lot of the TSB's/recalls done elsewhere. The dreaded E9x 335 HPFP and WG issues are examples where the HK dealer just turned a blind eye to the stateside recalls...

As much as I love my cars to begin with, BMWHK has done itself enough disservice to make me question my purchases in the future.

actually the 12k does inc 2 days track time + all the paper work to drive the car from hk to zhuhai, mainland china + hotel accommodation. it certainly looks expensive when compared to other countries. thats the price to pay if you want to live here and you kind of will get used to it after a while. tax is much lower, this might help you lessening the pain on why motorsports is more expensive here.
