Side note I wouldnt waste money on race gas with the jb3 stage 1.

I tried it and as mike said there wasnt much benifit but then again I didnt dyno it.

Same thing has happened to me atleast half a dozen times already ... I just wait it out and it disappears. Im too lazy to hook up my cable and read the code but im guessing its the fuel pump... JB3 stage 1 also

Maybe this is why I'm not seeing good results at the tracks. Time to order the can tool and check things out.

Any time you have a code you should check it! Also can't hurt to update to the latest firmware if you haven't already. I know there was a JB induced startup code in one of the earlier beta firmwares that was corrected.

Your hearing a bov noise while boosting or when you left off the throttle ?

I have had the half engine light a bunch of times before as well as boost cut in 3rd and 4th gear. we switched jb3's and its been fine soo far.

When I let off the throttle. It has become more audible as of late. I've only gotten the lights that one time. Terry has been kind enough to switch boards with me but it still cuts down. Like I said, I feel that maybe this problem occurred before my tune since it did in fact lose 1/4 ets.

Terry has been very helpful in trying to figure out just what the problem is. I'll have stett check it out when I leave it with them in the coming weeks.

Do you drive with your windows up all the time?

I hear my Factory bov every time I switch gears and its pretty damn loud for stock and Sounds like a hks ssqv on low boost.

Do you feel like it runs out of power as soon as you shift into 3rd or 4th?

Yeah, logs show that I'm not holding boost. My 60 foot time and 330ft are fine. But my 1/8 mile times is where you can see that that it is slowing down a lot. And no, I think my windows are down more than they are ever up lol.

My car I can hear it all the time on shifts even when stock. It was very noticeable. Now with the tune its much much louder.

Also on a 1-2 shift feels like it loses power with the JB3, even with traction control disabled.

Ive gotten the 1/2 engine light a few times on startup only and it went away as soon as I started driving. They werent fuel related codes however.

For the startup CEL that turns itself off after some driving you'll want to email BMS for the firmware update that fixed that.

On the blow off valve sound it is definitely going to be much louder at higher boost levels. I know at one point in the beta testing they lowered wastegate duty during the shifts as they felt they were starting to over power the factory DV with manual transmissions. If it's dropping boost let them know and perhaps they can make that user adjustable in the next firmware update.
