Very nice. I'm almost afraid to ask in this thread but is there any comparison data between the two?

We have about 15 race cores and 20 HD cores in the wild right now. We have independent customer logs for the race core but we're still waiting for the 7" HD logs. |

HDs have been "out in the wild" for weeks supposedly, including beta testers. I find it hard to believe it takes more than 2 hours to install and log, but I've yet to see a single piece of data from them...or even a picture of one for that matter.
No doubt IAT suppression will be better than the standard 7", but at the expense of how much flow/pressure drop? It piqued my interest a bit until I heard 3x the internal fin density too. Flow is a concern for larger turbos, just as much as IAT suppression is in Texas Mike, please post before/after logs of it with no changes to the tune. Actual logs, not screen shots of datazap, including boost and WGDCs. Thanks! |

I mentioned these points earlier in the thread where the conditions of your datalog (AKA Heat Soak) will play a strong roll in the outcome of the datalog. To get a controlled run, you'll need to have an open stretch of highway for a good minute or basically enough time for your IAT to get to the point of not going any lower. Only way to do this is to monitor the IAT live. If you are just interested in a typical day to day IAT log, you'll find it fairly inconsistent for the most part. That's why controlled data is so important and a lot of it revolves around heat soak of the vehicle. The first log of the day on a cold car will always be better then a car that's been in and out of traffic for 30+ minutes. |

Looks good, so much more exposed than my stock bumper. Where did you get the m3 rep and painted?

Thank you as well..! And yeah before you couldn't tell if it was a radiator or fmic lol, now there's no issue with that.. And I ordered my m3 rep from eBay for $299 and got it painted locally for $100.. My stock bumper had been hit on the highway by debris and the company that did it wrote me a check for $700, so I made a few bucks and got an m3 front out of the deal lol..
