Well, Easton is dead. After all the calls, voicemail and email this is the response and I asked about more stuff other than parking assistance. I even tried to show how if we were there people would be spending money there on food and surrounding hotels. Here is the short response I got back:

They are very interested and have some cool ideas. I need to talk more with them now since easton is dead. Kelly did tell me that easton would not do this since Germain pretty much runs stuff over there (auto related) since they are not allowed to have any BMW's over there for display.

Kelly is out due to the potential size of this meet. They can only accomodate about 30 to 40 people while they are open. They still want to participate with a meet for the greater Columbus folks though.

That blows... Easton would've been a great place to have a meet. I wonder if outdoor malls up here (Eaton, Crocker Park, Legacy Village) would be just as annoying about it.

That's a bummer. Looks like Columbus is more or less out of the running now. Any other potential venues? We should get this ball rolling with the meet less than 2 months away.

Jeffersonville anyone?

^ I think Cleveland is just too far for some of us to drive, Columbus is somewhat centrally located so everyone here in Ohio has the same opportunity to come, as well as some Hoosiers.

How many people are we expecting if Kelly can't accomodate everyone? I wouldn't mind driving to Cleveland but I agree that it would be pretty far for some people to drive. There's gotta be somewhere in Columbus. What about a park? A lot of them should have pavilions we could rent out.

We had an Ohio Bimmers meet last month and we had about 30 cars for that alone and about 50 people. If we put out a notice to the other forums and BMW CCA, then we are looking at a couple hundred folks! Also, all the park pavilions in the C-bus area are reseved into next year already. We were lucky to claim a pavilion early enough in the day with help from park rangers.
