Extending maintenance to 100,000 miles- how much did you pay?
I bought my new baby last week, 325i Sport w/ manual tranny. The finance manager rolled out the giant list of extended warranties during paper signing time. I passed on all of them except for extending the maintenance to 100,000 miles. It was $1345, but it seemed like a decent deal because it covers brake pad and rotors and the clutch. I tried to haggle with him, since I paid cash for the package, but he wouldn't budge. How much are you guys paying for that package?

I believe so. I remember the finance rep was saying that it covers what ever I decide to use for tires/rims.
I'll have to double check tho.

maintenace till 100k was about a grand
it's all a scam though, how many people will keep their cars that long???? I drive a ton and will get there in 4 years. if you don't drive a ton, it won't pay off as you'll probably sell the car before 100k although a major service will run about 900-a grand and each brake set (front or rear) will probably cost 400 bucks |

At the time that I was shopping quotes, I checked with my normal dealer - Shelly BMW - along with Crevier, Irvine BMW, Riverside BMW, and Savage BMW. I got the best price from Shelly and Riverside. |

Holy Crap! I just paid $2200 for the 100K warrantee, and that didn't include the maintenance. I didn't think to shop around for different prices on the extended warrantee.
I do plan on keeping mine this long. I've got 140K on my Jeep right now. Robert

I got my ext maint from Burdick BMW and cost is $985, I don't think any Westcoast dealer can offer this price. The ext warranty is aournd $2400 and below is the contact if any one is interest.

At Momentum, extended warrantee (fix & replace broken parts) to 100K miles is $2200. They kept talking about no cost, no cost, no cost. As soon as I saw the paperwork, I saw the $50 deductible... Oh well. I think it's a decent insurance if anything significant goes wrong over 6 years.
The extended maintenance was $1400. This is your extra oil changes, etc. I didn't get this. So I guess the difference in price with extended warrantees may be that mine is through BMW and has a $50 deductible and others are through Geico or some other 3rd party and has a higher deductible. Did anyone get the actual BMW extended warrantee for significantly less than $2000? I like the idea of the group purchase. I can cancel mine within 60 days... Robert
