I would start using it, otherwise you may have some expensive problems in the future. Also, with people now able to view the MOT history and see how many miles a year you do, I certainly wouldn't buy a big diesel that has only done 5k a year. |

Averaging 29MPG in a 2007 E92 320d auto. It's my first week driving it, so haven't tested it too much apart from commuting to work in it this whole week. The commute is terrible going from Havering to Nine Elms, all across London at rush hours in constant start/stop traffic for an hour and a half but I was still expecting slightly better fuel economy, or is this normal?
It's my first ever car so I'm not sure what to look out for to determine if there is something wrong with the car, or if this is the MPG i should be expecting from that sort of driving. Haven't had the chance to test it out on an open road motorway for a decent amount of time yet to see what it returns on that. |

These figures are since Saturday afternoon when I collected the car. The bulk of the miles are motorway with the cruise on at 70mph.
Can't complain I just wish the journey computer reset automatically as I regularly forget to log my mileage. N57 325d Touring Auto |

I've had my E91 about 3 weeks (although one week of no use due to a flooded ECU!) but sitting on 51.3 mpg since I bought it. Approximately 750 miles covered.

Covered about 2500 miles since I got my manual E90 320d in June. Averaging 49mpg. Not too shabby.

Just done a 375mile round trip from South Cumbria to Sutton Coldfield and back. Light traffic, cruise set to 80, some 50 zones on the M6. 38.7mpg at average of 56MPH.
The N52 in the 330i is surprisingly economical. |

I've got a 2011 320d ED now at 161k. On the motorway I get well over 60mpg and can very easily get 700 miles from a full tank. Mixed driving is usually 45-47mpg. It might be more efficient if I use Shell vpower fuel rather than Morrison's cheap n cheerful. 😀

Getting 31.45 according to my Road Trip app, which I'm happy with in my 2010 E91 N53 325i Touring. Generally I'm using it on longer journeys and not speeding, but if it was just town driving I'd be lucky to see 20mpg I reckon even if I was being careful![IMG][/IMG]

330d LCI - averages out at 37.1
Mix of short journeys to work, longer motorway cruises on weekends and some fun drives on the odd evening in search of good back roads. Did manage 56/57 on the way to France in August. Hardly had to fill up that trip. |

325d lci n57, I reset and take note every month.
Average between 31-34mpg Best I've ever gotten 39.8mpg Seems these cars are all over? Some people seem to get 40+ with ease and others are sitting around 30 like myself! |
