Even though I'm saving my car from all of the salt and sand by having a second vehicle, not driving my bimmer is beginning to drive me crazy. It also makes the winter seem longer for me!

MNBMW, if you need a detail come springtime, I would highly recommend Eurodetail, who operate out of Imola. Bob did an excellent job on my car last fall and I'll be sending it back to him in the spring.

Appreciate the reference! Do they do interior work as well.

They do interiors also, but I only had the exterior done last fall. I plan on having both exterior and interior done in the spring though.

IRL-MN,
Thanks for the reference. I was thinking about doing the Autospa at Motorwerks, but it is painfully expensive. I'll definately give Bob a look.

For local detailing I would highly recommend Sterling Enterprises. The guy who operates it is the head driving instructor for the BMWCCA Northstar chapter. I've had my car detailed there and the results were amazing.

Wow, looks impressive. I drove past a couple months back when it was nearing completion but haven't been back there since. I'll probably wait until they have a 335is to tempt me with

You must drive yours about as much as I drive mine! I'm a little under 12k miles at 20 months old. The 335is does sound tempting, but I'm torn between that and just keeping what I have now until the new 3er shows up in a couple of years. It's a tough call

I hope they put new staff members in that fancy new building.

Did you have a bad experience there? I had one a few years back and I've been dealing with Motorwerks ever since, where I've had nothing but positive experiences.

Yes, a few actually. I used to live near Sears. When I started looking for a E90, I started there. Everytime I went there I was treated poorly. They were flat out rude. So I turned to Mototwerks and have been happily dealing with them ever since.

Interesting, my experiences have been exactly the opposite... at least from the sales perspective. I've had good experiences with the service staff at Motorwerks, haven't taken my car to Sears for service.

What's everybody in to? There are alot of places along that stretch of 394 we could go to. There's a new Irish pub out there too I've been meaning to checkthe food out at, but I'm biased on that one

I think an Irish pub would be a pretty safe bet as far as accomodating everyone's tastes.

I'm open to any ideas. I've never been to an Irish pub before. Willing to try new things.

Weather Info for the 30th!

Guys,

It seems like the 30th is going to be a bit chilly. At least there won't be any snow.

Cheers

Well I looked at some reviews on line for this place and it seems to be pretty ordinary food (burgers, sandwiches etc), so should suit most people. I'm easy though, anybody else got ideas?

The cold won't bother me as long as the snow stays away! I'll just have to remember to grab a hot coffee on the way there.

Which pub are you refering too? I'll be interested to hear how the midwest does on providing an authentic Irish experience!

Being from far NE Minnesota, cold and snow are more than welcome! (I know I am the minority with that mind set)

It's called Cooper Irish pub, at Hwy 100 and 394. It's only been open a month or two. I'm also curious to see how authentic it is! (If you are looking for authentic Irish food, I would check out the Irish breakfast at O'Donovans in downtown Mpls. Not everybody's cup of tea, but everybody I've introduced it to over here loves it and it's as good as I've ever had in Ireland).

Ah yes! I've not eaten there. I have tried, but it was an hour wait. Although it was dinner time on a friday. It looked good from the foyer.
