Stage 3 has more aggressive shifting patterns than stage 2 in d mode. I didn’t like stage 3 because of that... I think I used the stage 3 hybrid for a bit because it had a less aggressive d mode, but I like having a rev limiter in m mode so I switched to stage 2 lol.

Oh I mean which licence do i need to buy from them? The super licence or general or the custom thing?

a little secrete super license is a waist of money

get stage 3 it gives you the option to run the stage 1 in normal drive mode for comfort then get the customization license. doing that will let you fine tune the shift points and firmness of the shifts to your liking..

I'm running stage three i have my drive mode perfect for me and i fine tuned sport mode.. i could daily drive sport mode if i wanted (bit its pretty sensitive) and my car shift into 6th in sport mode..

i would be tempted to just do the custom license on the stock tune..

335stoner, do you know if you can put a rev limiter in m mode using the custom license on stage 3. That was my only reason for not running stage 3

I can't even get the xHp app to work. Just keeps crashing in a never ending loop of crash/restart/crash. It even crashes my phone into stupid loops. They can't seem to figure it out. It's not my cable because it works fine with Tool32, INPA, etc...

So frustrating.

what android device??

I have used a Note 3 and LG G4 without any issues both are micro USB. my LGV20 i had an issue and didn't really try to troubleshoot, but that is a USB type C. i think my issue was using too many adapters... USB to Micro to type C.. My G4 is my dedicated "car device"

I'll just put a plug in. I have an LG V20 and I was able to use it to reprogram my transmission. Though I find the xHP tune on my car to be one of those really minor changes. Running stage 2, I'll probably appreciate it more if I switched back to stock.

In fact my LG V20 is my transmission tuner at this point is its one of the last android phones I have....

Unfortunately I found this out after spending the money... Holds gears far too long for my driving and liking. A lot of money thrown away to find that out. Went back to "3" after a couple days.
