Laugh all you want, but here's what I did last spring.
Needed new tires, and was sick of the loud stiff run-flats. Got Goodyear Assurance Comfortred on my 2008 328i. You can definitely notice that handling is not as good, but the quiet and smooth ride were worth it. I got a high end "Res Q" tire patch and inflate kit in the trunk for flats, supposedly much better than fix-a-flat, and Res Q says you can still repair the tire after using their sealant. At this point, I have over 8k miles on the new tires, have rotated them once, and they are still really smooth and quiet. Makes my custom stereo sound so much better. |
