DSC and xDrive Malfunction
I just had our 2012 X3 detailed. The guy did an amazing job, but now I'm getting the dreaded "DSC and xDrive Malfunction" message.
He not only did the exterior, but also the engine compartment. What sensors might cause this error? Would it more likely be an engine compartment sensor getting damp, or a wheel/ABS sensor getting knocked out of whack? Or something else? I've seen mention of this in other threads. The battery compartment is bone dry (as one would expect), and I'm 99.9% sure that's not the problem. Gary |

If you can get an ISTA scan, one the last errors before the DSC and xDrive Malfunction will be your culprit.
For me, the TPMS module behind the rear passenger wheel corroded and in turn fried my FRM module. Good luck |

did your battery go flat? if it did, youll need to reset the x drive system by turning the wheel to full lock left and then right a couple of times.
