When my headlights are fully on the the lens of the headlight seems to get really hot is that normal or is there a problem? Quick opinions would help a lot thanks

if everything is stock then its normal. The bulbs do emit a decent amount of heat with the light and thats fine. It helps snow melt off in the winter too.

they are aftermarket headlights but I've had them on for a long time now but hadn't really noticed the hot lens until i touched them, no problems at all they work fine.

How long was the car and lights on when it was hot? And was it too hot to touch? If it feels like touching a hot pan that's definitely unusual.

But some heat is to be expected. The xenons are 35W and they're not 100% efficient at turning electricity into light--the best LEDs are around 22% efficient!

So unless it actually burns you when you touch it, I wouldn't be too worried.

its mostly when i turn the headlight switch all the way to the right where all the lights on the lens gets really hot infront of the bulb that looks like a glass ball (I'm thinking the adaptive or whatever its called)

That's pretty normal. xenon's consume the most power and put out the most heat when they start up. it spikes up and then stabilizes quickly
