Help me pull the trigger! 08 335i cpe
Would someone give me some insight on this deal, New soon to be owner of a 2008 335i coupe, montego blue, blk leather int, 18,000 miles, sport pk, prem pak, nav, cold weather pack, dual lumbar, comfort access, sat radio, 6 disk cd, suede headliner And steering wheel (never seen this before dont know what to think), well i guess to make it easier the car does not have a rear sunshade and active cruise. I know I know but this car is automatic my girlfriend and my sis need to drive it sometimes too and dont/wont learn stick and i wouldn't teach them in that type of car anyway!! any info would be greatly appreciated in brand new to this board and would like some seasoned input. PRICE Asking 31000--- got them down to 29,800 and wont budge a dollar more.

thats what i was thinking
does it have a service record of HPFP failure? clean history? thats really low mileage and a really low price for a loaded car... but then again i got mine fully loaded CPO for 31k before tax just make sure youve looked in to everything you could have really lucked out and found a great deal!

1.) That really is a great deal even at 31k.
2.) People really need to do research on a car before they actually make a purchase. For you to not know the HPFP issue is ridiculous. Even if you researched the car for 4 minutes you would have found out what it meant. It's crazy to me how people buy a car without knowing what they are getting into first. Good luck with the purchase. |

Damn, that alacantra headliner looks sick. That's actually the first one I've seen. I'd say if there aren't any HPFP failures, under 30k is a solid price.

HPFP is covered by warranty, no matter the mileage. I wouldn't worry about it too much; BMW will fix it for free if there is ever a problem.
I had a HPFP failure with my '07 e92 and they replaced it for free, even though I was over the warranty mileage. |

No problem man. Glad I could help bring someone new to the community!
The wheel looks like the old school M sport wheels (below), except in reverse. I've never seen it before; definitely custom, along with the head liner. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. Looks kinda cool and I bet it looks better in person. I say if you like it, buy it and don't worry too much about the resale value. If and when it comes time to resell, price it at what its worth and I bet it will catch someones eye. Just like selling a house, the audacity may detract some buyers, but I bet someone will love it. It only takes one person. Good luck and enjoy the open road. Cheers! |
