335i Vinyl Wrap

I have contemplated doing a vinyl wrap on my car for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on matte silver. I only got a few more things to wrap on it...what do you all think? Ill take some better pictures of it when its done Thursday or Friday, I took these on my iPhone.

This link has a few more pictures to. I'll try to update it when I take some more.

love it! I haven't seen any matte BMW's in Chicagoland. It looks like frozen space gray in that lighting - are you going to keep the roof and mirrors black? That would look sweet

I updated that picture gallery with the finished wrap.

I left the roof, mirrors and door handles black. Everything else is wrapped in the matte silver vinyl. To do a color swap like this costs about $2000 out the door at the shop. It only gets more expensive if there is a special design, color, etc. If it is matte black, matte white, matte silver or matte hunter green it is typically $2000. Took me about 3 days after hours at the shop (Xtreme Graphics) to get it finished but I am happy with it. Once I get bored with it I can just pull it all off. Now I just need a set of lowering springs & exhaust and Ill be content for the summer.

Very sharp...Im curious what the door jams look like? Does the wrap "wrap" around the back or is it cleanly cut and well hidden? I assume the later for $2000.

Is there a warranty that goes along with the install?

Everything is typically wrapped right to the edge or around the edge and cut cleanly such as door edges, etc. The car was originally black so the door jams are still black. I will take some pictures of the doors opened so you can see what I mean. The vinyl itself is rated up to 7 years but realistically if you actually drive the car and leave it outside a majority of the time you will get 3-5 years out of it with proper care. There really is no warranty because it is so variable to how each person takes care of their car, but the install definitely is. If anything occurs due to install miscue it gets taken care of.

I am thinking about powdercoating the rims matte black, but I am on the fence. I am toying with the idea of doing a m3 style hood too.

I've been thinking about matte black, how to you wash it? Is it more or less maintenance?
