There is a large caravan going from chicago but I just found out I might be going on Thursday instead of Friday for "work"

People will regret not attending the drag night, it was HUGE last year. The dyno day will also be a great time. There will be some SERIOUS cars strapping onto the dyno......

Just a quick update:

The sample T-shirt is in the mail from the T-shirt supplier. I should be placing the order this week and will start selling them ASAP. Once I get the shirt, I will have my model (my wife, LOL) wear it and take some pictures. I am only getting 150 shirts this year. I purchased 225 last year and was stuck with about 60 shirts. If you want a shirt, I would suggest purchasing one as soon as I post them up for sale. The shirts are going to cost about $11.50 a piece to make, so I figure $20-25 as a target price to sell them?? As with everything, all proceeds will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project(r).

I have asked the Hilton Hotel to staff an extra bartender for the after party following dinner Saturday night. Last year we overwhelmed them and it took a while to get drinks. I am anticipating 50 people? That was one of the highlights last year for me.....

I will be posting up the raffle item list within the next couple of days.

Right now the Charity PayPal account is at $935.00. I will be using some of that money to pay for the police escort, which is about $800. (Thank you to those who have sent donations to help pay for the escort)

If anyone has any extra pop up tents, I would gladly use them the day of the event. If anyone would be interested in helping set up, assist with parking, and pass out welcome packets at the gate, the help would be welcomed. We always run short on people the day of the event. Not that I can blame them, there is a lot going on with so many great people and cool cars to see/meet. Who wants to stand and work! LOL.

I decided to go with a local supplier for the shirts. The guys are car enthusiasts and are sponsoring the event. The cost is just a little more than Zazzle, but the personal contact makes it easier......
