Deleting Foglight VO

Im at a bit of a loss here, quite confused.

I removed the VO for fogs ($520) from both my CAS and NFRM. Somehow I am still getting fog light errors on my iDrive.

Do I still need to code out the cold and warm checks?

Stupid question, but did you default code NFRM after you removed $520 from the VO?

If yes, you might have to default code KOMBI too.

I did. I’m assuming KOMBI is done through NCS too?

I had only read that CAS/NFRM were necessary.

At this point I am looking to update my FRM to C33 software, which I believe is done with winkfp if you have any tips there. I know I will lose any coding, which is fine I don’t have much.

CAS and NFRM are all you need to update in order to update the VO, but if any other modules are affected by the change in VO, those modules need to be "default coded" in order to reflect the change.

FRM was updated to C33 software yesterday and with this the VO changes took affect.

I discovered a previous owner had coded out brake light errors because immediately after this, I got bright light errors. For awhile a few friends told me they looked kinda weird but, I had no errors so kinda ignored it.
