The nav volumes in iGo primo are part of that nav package, they can set the relative volume of all the different sounds and turn things on/off etc....its all very granular and customizable. iGo Primo is a nav solution that is used accross many platforms and devices, its not just on Dynavin's. BUT to change the nav volumes you have to go deep into the menus, not so great while driving.

So Dynavin made it so that you can also just turn the knob while the nav is talking to adjust the OVERALL volume of the entire nav system, much easier and quicker.

Once you set up all the various sounds in the nav software (I turn everything OFF except for the nav voice) you should just leave them, no reason to go back there once its set. Then use the volume knob only from then on.

Ok..so i'm trying to turn off Hvac display. It is very annoying to me. There is no OFF option under "climate control information"..i have only EU or USA..very wierd! I am on ver 1.3

Thanks for info on reboot, Jeff. That brought it back to life and it worked the whole 8 hour drive back. Can someone confirm if the red/yellow/green on-screen directional lines on the reverse camera screen move with steering wheel turn? I swear they used to, but since firmware update they now remain straight. I do have adaptive headlights if that matters. It's not a deal breaker because the other things the new firmware brought to the table are cool.

I checked a few units around here and they all show LHD, RHD and OFF under the climate control display setting.....

When did you update your firmware and where did you get it? There were a few beta versions floating around this last time so Im thinking you may have ended up with one of those? Download the latest version from dynavin.com and reinstall.

Only cars with the PDC system make "beep" noises when in reverse. The camera does not have anything to do with that.

Its not something you can change.

I believe you can connect this device to the RCA ports on the N6 and then transmit video and audio over a wireless network from your phone to the N6.

I'm currently trying to decide whether to get a device like this, or the Apple Carplay adaptor. I just really wish Waze was supported on Carplay.

Yeah, I talked to Dynavin (the manufactuer) and its not actually theirs....the German Dynavin distributor is doing it and is selling them under their Dynavin brand name. So its not something I have any details on or can sell (for now).

Obviously its just a display device, no control involved.....similar results can be achieved with a simple video output cable/converter....but would not be wireless.

Hi all,

1. I've been using iPhone with N6 but am considering moving to Android and Samsung S7. Will it function the same way via USB connection (can I scroll through music, forward/rewind, etc)? Will I be forced to do A2DP, or can it be done through hardwire through USB like the iPhone was capable of?
2. Still hoping for answer on the reverse camera directional parking assist lines (red, yellow, green). I believe they "turned" with steering wheel turn on old firmware, but do not anymore (they stay straight no matter what). In addition, on the OBD screen, I only now have water temp. Everything else I used to have, like voltage, etc. is gone. Can anyone confirm about the parking assist lines being stationary on the new firmware?
