Definitely xi if you can afford it. Coupe only if you're getting M sport.

Limited slip diff first. I think power's adequate even in stock form.

i plan on getting the coupe, no sedan and also the m - package on the sedan now weather i should get the x-drive or not is the only question debatable.

If you are modding it, dont get XI. Unless you want to pay a lot extra.

Well, it seems the guy doesn't know what x drive is.. it is AWD, so why not choose based off your own needs? You're in staten island, if you have to drive it every day, AWD might be of use.. if you have something else for bad weather, I'd stick with the i

The only big difference, from my understanding, between the i and xi is when you get the sport package. They will have different wheels and the xi will sit higher because it does not have the sport suspension (even with the sport pkg) because it is meant for all weather so more ground clearance.

Im not sure how robust the xi is, but the xi acceleration off the line and a slow roll does seem better because it gets instant traction. I seem to just spin in my 335i. That being said it may be really hard on the drivetrain in the xi which may not make it practical, unlike my Jeep which will launch all day long.

If i lived where it snowed, i would be getting an msport e90 xdrive in stick.

Survey says, non x-drive coupe.

I have had many 328i x-drive sedan loaners. I like them, but would not spend my own money on them. They look so-so, kinda dated. The x-drive saps mpgs no matter what anyone says. I had a sedan for 8 days, and my commute yielded 17.x mpg. My 335 coupe does 21.7. I have never had a 335 x-drive for an extended period, so if someone says a 335 x-drive can do 20-21, maybe it's the N54 that's more efficient, not sure.

My current average mpg is 23.7 in a 335xi.

I own a 335xi coupe. I bought the coupe because I think the sedan is uglier, and I have no need for the extra set of doors. I got the XI instead of the I because I live in an area that sees snow, ice and other shitty weather in the winter and I drive my car year round. I get about 21 MPG typically.

So IMO choice between Coupe and Sedan really depends on what style you like better and whether you need to use the backseat often.

The choice between XI and I comes down to whether you need AWD. If its a year round car and you drive in the snow belt, then you may well consider it.

The best answer.

These types of questions ALWAYS go nowhere around here. Just pages and pages of "get what I've got, because it's the best" crap.

xDrive coupe will not come with any sport suspension, even with the sport package.

If you live in an area notorious with snow, xDrive will be invaluable.

I've always had sedans before the e92 I love the way the coupe looks. The sedan is still beautiful IMO but wanted something different. My buddy just got a coupe too so he kinda inspired me. Depending on where you live get the xi if you get a lot of snow. Key is awd will help you break loose but it will not help you stop. Get snow tires!

i do live in an area where snow is definitely seen but i have a truck as well but my real question is would it come with a sport suspension if i would get the m package on the coupe as well as x-drive?
