That was exactly the problem. Once I got a new battery installed, everything was good again

Some clarity on disconnecting the IBS; are we talking about disconnecting #13 in the diagram below?

So my car didn't start to day and I decided to try pulling the IBS plug and it worked. Can someone point me in the right direction to replace this sensor? I don't even know where the wire goes to.

Hey mikayls101.. I am having the same problem. How much would it cost to replace the starter? I am contemplating whether to send my car to dealership or an indie garage. The dealership can give free rental car.

Does the IBS sensor have anything to the starter going out?

The only time my car wouldn't start was when the ground wire for the starter and water pump was corroded and ripped. It is attached to the driver side motor mount. You can check it by removing the driver side front wheel and looking through there. It's a braided metal wire. Mine was discolored and ripped apart when I reach in there to check it.

This may not be your same problem though.

My car would not start and lights would all be on with full power. I have a 6spd so I would push start it and then after driving for a while it would overheat because the water pump would not kick in since it had no ground.

e90 no crank no start

07 e90 won't crank won't start. No warning signs to this problem, I drove a few miles and went to start and got this noise. Battery is new and showing 12.6v, I put a load on it and is good. Terminals look good. Unplugged intelligent battery sensor. Swapped CAS relay, pulled all glove compartment fuses, tapped on starter a few times...all nothing. Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions??

Yes I did. It was just the starter. Tested after pulling it out and still wouldn't spin....just went completely out. Code was A0B4, A0B5, A10A, A0B2. Good luck
