Hey guys, i just got my new-to-me 2007 335i Sedan with CPO warranty. I did notice that the HID headlights vibrates madly when driving and found the following SIB/TSB regarding this issue. Does anyone know if CPO warranty will cover it and is there any way to get a copy of the bulletins to see if i can do the fix myself?

63 10 07 Headlight Vibrates when Vehicle is in Motion
63 13 07 Headlight Vibrates

Thanks in advance!

So we pool money from 30 members, a dollar each, then print off every bulletin??

Would that work???

Yes. You only have access to the site for 24 hours. You can try to print them but you better stock up on ink and paper. The index which lists the bulletins and the subjects of them(one line each) is over 30 pages long and that is just the index for the E90/E92It isnt so much the $30, it is definitely worth the money. Best thing I have found is to do a search by your model and then print the list of bulletins for it. Then go through that list(30+ pages) and read the subject and highlight the ones that relate to whatever you are looking for and print them.
I havent been able to find a easy way to do it but if you do, please let us know

Is there a way to export any of the documentation as HTML or PDF? Seems someone computer savvy could figure out a way to quickly rip all of the material within that time-frame.

There were some people that did it in the past but BMW changed some of the options on the site and one of them was the easy way to print. Alt Prnt Scrn and then paste it in paint. Works but what a hassle

you should be able to select "print" and in your print window where you can select different printers, select .pdf. That will save the document .pdf format with a default meaningless name. When done, go back open the document to identify what it is and Save As with new name.

This happens to me when the rear seat heat is on, the ducting runs near the outside wall near where your knee rests on the center console and it can get warm! Not sure what they would do to fix it other than put some insulation between the ducting at center console wall. Can anyone else comment on this?

I complained about mine. They followed the bulletin. In the end nothing was wrong and the bulletin says if you don't like it than turn off the rear heat.

Saw this on "bimmerforum" so do not credit me with this write-up! cant wait to do this today!

"Over time the ECU in the trans learns your driving style and that is what it keeps in memory. The throttle is "Drive By Wire" and adapts and personalizes to your particular driving style. However, there is a way to set the ECU back to factory default. I have done this with my 07 328 and it works fine. I've done this with several Mercedes. The only difference with a push button to start/stop engine system is that you must use the start button instead of turning the key to it's first position and again to simulate the off position.
DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY DURING THIS PROCEDURE
Here it is; How to do a TBA: Throttle Body Adaptation reset.
Resetting the Adaptive Driver Memory for the transmission.

Works with any car that has Driver Adaptive Electronic Controlled Transmission.

1. Get in your car, it doesn't matter if you close the door or not.
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter turns over. BMW: press start button – foot off brake - all idiot lights on.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position. BMW: All idiot lights on.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off position". BMW: foot off brake press start button - all idiot lights now off (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
5. Wait a full 2 minutes for a full electronic alignment. Don't remove the key.
6. Start engine, drive the car, notice the difference."

Wow !.., this is great info.

Just purchased a used 08 M3 and I have a few things that are bugging me. I found an SIB for the rear cluncking.., LBBMW said it was normal.., guess i need to give them the SIB #. Why didn't they look it up for me ? The other issues are trans rattle at idle with pedal out, and a higher pitch knock that keep time with the rpm. The sound is similar to it needing a valve adjustment like on older engines. It's easiest to hear in 3rd around 3200-3500 rpms, and seems to be louder in normal driving mode, non sport and non M. I haven't been able to find bulletins on either of these.

Any help is appreciated. The Warranty is up in March of this year !

Thanks.

Philo.
