e92 pre lci to lci tail lights

Hi,

I just changed to a set of lci tail light. Is it normal that it has codes say that left and right brake light malfunction? I just have to code them out so I don't see the warning everytime I drive.

Yes, it's very normal to get error codes after changing electrical parts. I got one after changing my fog light.

Just had to code it out.

Good luck to you.

I code out the warning so there is no dash warning anymore. But the error code is still there when I use the carly app to do a diagnostic. That's normal too? Just want to clarify what I meant.

Oh yeah my bad I misunderstood you. Yeah that's normal. My car throws codes for a lot of things I've fixed.

If you get a BMW specific diagnostic tool used on your car you should be able to clear it though!
