If you're not spinning then you should launch harder. If you are spinning then you just need to throttle it the best you can. If the outside temps were 70F then you're probably starting your run with about 100F IATs. This is a huge reason why I added methanol. During the burning, I had drag radials, I would be able to spray a little methanol to cool things down. As soon as the run would start temps would drop down near ambient and stay very close to that the entire run. Without methanol I would start at 100F+ and would get up to as high as 145F.

So I hit the track with the X1 on Friday and put down about 7 runs. Best run was a 12.96 @ 106mph. On this run I was trying a second gear launch and accidentally hit the kick down switch which brought me back to first gear. I was limited by heat and a little bit by octane.

JB4 @ 16 psi

These photos are massive. Honestly I was a little disappointed with my time and even what you ran. The last time I went to the track I had added methanol and still only trapped 107 with the ET around 12.8. Traction is starting to become an issue on the Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3+. My turbo is at Pure right now but should be installed in a month or so. I originally was hoping for lower 12's on the stock turbo and high 11's on the PS2 but I am thinking this will probably be a low 12's car with the upgrade hybrid.

Had an F series n55 out here in chicago run a 10.917 at 124.22mph 1/4 not bad at all!
mods are FBO n55 xdi60 hpfp and pure stage 2 turbo.
