Fortune Auto Coilovers

Has anyone used Fortune Auto Coilovers for our cars? What's your experience with them if you have them?

Work good, not as much adjustment as others. Still can go low

I have had Fortune Autos on for a few years now, probably about 45k on them. 500 series, 8k F/14k R, all the options at the time.

Had a great experience with them once I realized the default spring rates were garbage. Rear springs swapped and struts revalved to fix the initial mismatch.

Two sets. About year or so and they develop leaks. Not good at all. When was last time you checked yours? Check and report.

Aren't BC racing actually good? I regret going Bilstein compared to BC because my bilstein are only partially threaded coils compared to full threaded on BCs. And BC actually has a good reputation.

BC's are made to fit crap with no platform R&D whatsoever. They are not the worst, but they are for the Stance crowd. Bilsteins are made to perform. If all you care about is how low they go then really you can buy whatever because none of the made in taiwan rebranded stuff will last a long time anyway.

Yeah I admit I like the Bilstein for the lifetime warranty. Should've spent more on a higher end Bilstein with fully threaded. To get the flush fitment with wheels, nothing crazy like rubbing everywhere, I had to bottom out the front so that means the preload is a bit bouncy now.

Looked at them a few days back with the car up on the lift. No issues. Fronts will be coming up on what should be due for a rebuild, but no leaks at the moment.

ST is probably the cheapest I would go if I was looking at coilovers. BC is trash, heard this from many reputable sources. Lots of the cheaper and more marketed brands all use the same, base, Chinese stuff.
