Guys... we want it perfect before it's released and sometimes that takes a little extra time -that's part of the game with projects like this.

Testing should be done soon, believe me, we'll have plenty of results posted once it is.

I love the excitement -but ya gotta be patient. It's coming.

As someone potentially interested, the anticipation for this being able to provide results is probably the most important thing. Can you confirm that 500+whp is achievable on pump gas no supplementary fueling after testing?

We have a tester out in AZ, so not only will we get pump gas, we'll get crappy ACN91 pump gas numbers. It'll only get (much) better on real 91, 93, or of course ethanol.

So the N55 GC with DV+, ceramic, install kit and shipping is about $3800 for PWG and $4000 for EWG.

Makes it even more expensive than the S55 unit which is $3200 according to F80 thread. (And Pure S2 N55 is roughly 50% of S55).

2 Turbos for S55 cheaper than 1 for N55? WTF

Why are 2 S55 Turbos $50 cheaper to ship than 1 N55 Turbo?

So....everyone was saying this N55 unit would be cheaper than the Pure S2 N55 yet its way more expensive. About the price of Pure S2 with a core (which you get refunded from Pure)

So...WTF happened to all the "cheaper than Pure S2 and no Core charge"?

You'd really have to compare apples to apples, and adding something like ceramic coating in will of course add cost. Not to mention that our offering is a genuine garret dual ball bearing center section. Shipping on a large dimensioned cast piece will be more than two smaller ones. The BF sale going on this Fri is a good way to save quite a bit of coin.

Again, posters were told that this was less than price of a pure stage 2 with no core charge...which is very false.

Where did that info, now incorrect come from?

And why is a single N55 totally off of proportion to the S55 dual offering?

Was reading this and thinking the same thing. And even then we haven't seen results besides a more expensive price has been released.

The N55 PWG was stated to be available in Q2 2018.

If you purchase now in the final half of Q4 2018, it will supposedly be available sometime in Q1 2019.

Given past record, place your bets for when you will actually receive the turbo....

I'll place my bets on the turbo blowing on the first past like their car at NFZ last week, not being warrantied, Tony spewing a ton of shit per usual (he's banned from here ), bad customer service. You know, the typical VTT stuff.

In all fairness to VTT we did much of the pricing speculation. We were told only that "pricing would be competitive." One person's "competitive" is another persons "WTF were they thinking?" If they had built the kit as originally stated with a journal bearing turbo, I'm sure we could see price points pushing closer to PS2. As it stands $3,500 gets you a quality turbo that should be good for up to 600WHP. The downside is you are stuck with that turbo.
I don't anticipate they will sell many of these kits even if the base price of the kit stays at $2,999. For the same money you can get a proven Big Boost kit with more turbo options and for a few bucks more (depending on how you configure your VTT kit) you can get the Speedtech kit, which is superior to the VTT offering IMO.
When VTT wants to get serious they will build a kit that gets rid of the restrictive exhaust manifold, bolts on a quality journal bearing turbo that is capable of 500whp on 93 octane and 600whp on E50 and prices it with all the goodies under $3,000.

We had an engine issue, turbos (which are Garrett on the Stage 3 kit) are fine, but don't let facts get in the way.

Guys, we're working on it. The timelines ran long, that we know. That's how it goes sometimes in development. The stuff we're doing in the background will be very evident once you get it in your paws. It's expensive because it's a DBB using genuine Garrett CHRA, not a JB unit. Shipping is going to be higher due to dimensions and weight. You guys are going to like it quite a lot, but we're taking our time and making sure it's right. I really do appreciate the enthusiasm.

Glad you brought up the point about facts. Obviously VTT did not set the facts straight when posters stated it was cheaper than Pure Stage 2.

So we are where we are today.

Let’s not repeat historical mistakes as you suggest.

With that said, the other part of the claims not corrected by VTT was it would out perform and spool faster than a Pure Stage 2.

So, after the sticker shock has now set in....and in an effort as you stated to “not let facts get in the way”, at what RPM does this turbo spool by?

As previously posted a few times, we'll post results when ready. When that time comes all of your questions will be answered, not before. We're close guys, really close. For those of you that have been patient -thank you. For those that just can't wait any longer, while we would love your business and think this is worth a little bit longer of a wait, we do understand. Go enjoy your cars!

So much for facts getting in the way.

Asked a very simple question about spool that was posted repeatedly by posters over internet who indicated they were given this info....as well as told less than Pure with no core charge.

And you wonder why people don’t trust Vargas.

Hell, I was even willing to overlook on your M5 Turbos after all your “testing” that the turbos spun the wrong way!

But I guess I was too forgiving.

Wow.

Vegas Turbo also charges a 3% PayPal Fee for accepting credit cards. No way around it. Even if you do not use PayPal.com

Another $100 for nothing and ridiculous shipping costs.

And to add insult to injury, no place to Add 20% off code to order form.

Keeps getting more and ridiculous.

If anyone has issues with the site charging 3% paypal fee incorrectly, that will be resolved with our new site. In the meantime shoot us an email and we'll make it right.

Randy, seems like you aren't happy with us. You've sent Tony dozens of emails, me several emails, PM's, etc, all asking to be an N55 tester, ignoring our responses and continuing to email asking. I have replied multiple times that we are uninterested in having you test the product. Being aware that we were looking for a tester, I find it disappointing that you're trying to make our position look bad, then try to purchase the unit. Your order has been cancelled and you have been fully refunded. We do not want your business.

I want to be perfectly clear; I'm excited about the N55 turbo, I think it's going to be awesome. I'm not going to postulate on how it does compared to competitors, talk spool numbers, or any other nonsense. We'll post real results from a real third party individual who we are working with. Real results trump hype, armchair guesses, postulation, and flat out bullshit. This stuff is supposed to be (and is for us) fun guys, I know it's taken a while and I appreciate the majority of you being very patient. We're close.

If anyone has specific questions, shoot me an email directly and I'll be happy to help you out/tell you what we can thus far. I will update accordingly.

Thanks,
Chris

ROFLMAO

They are scared for me to get my hands on one.

Those are the facts....not conjecture.

That speaks volumes about their product.

To quote Tony, “your money is no good here”.

Let’s only sell to the sheep, right?

Honestly, if I was them I wouldn't deal with you either. You seem like you'd be a headache of a customer and not worth the hassle. You kinda shot yourself in the foot with the negative attitude

Only if things don’t perform as advertised.

Your post (and theirs) indicates your belief that is what will happen.

Think about it.

Nothing to be scared of unless you are expecting failure.

So they did me a favor. Unfortunately for the shepple, perhaps not.

IK6SPEED, you're being an argumentative 12 year old. I suggest that you take your money, take a bow, and go with an alternative vendor. Then when you are done come back with your superior redults. BTW, I have a Pure 2 and I paid nowhere near 1600 dollars. Feel free to troll me now.

Speedtech has my money! Much higher price than VTT. Very happy to be working with a non-BSer.

No idea WTF your $1600 comment is about.
