Hey guys -

Just wanted to recommend this shop that's on west broad st (Richmond VA). Recently I took a sharp turn and my rear view mirror fell off my windshield (quality, i know). It seems like the glue that attaches my rear view mirror and the glass simply gave up.

Long story short, Richmond BMW pushed back and advised that I get a brand new windshield (note that they didnt tell me this until I showed up with an appointment to wait on the car). Then told me I had to make an appointment and drop the car off on a different day (after I waited in the waiting room for an hour and half)...so I left without anything fixed since I needed this to be done now.

Randomly showed up at Binswangers, spoke to this guy William who was very down to earth and knowledgeable. Told me all the options I had and told me hes done plenty of these. Didn't have to wait at all and was out of there in 45min. I was really skeptical at first but this guy knows a ton and walked me through every step. After the job was done, he told me to not worry about the charge since it's a small fix so I tipped the guy and left.

Just thought I'd share since a good shop is hard to come by

Do you know if they do suspension and brake work? I 'm looking for someone in the Richmond or Midlothian area for a good shop that won't kill me with their prices and can do a good alignment etc.

Nope, glass place only - I'm also looking for a shop that does alignments etc not sure if I'm desperate enough to head over to goodyear..yet
