Even so, not having to remove your keys from your pocket to open the doors and start the car is a bigger benefit than you might think. You get really used to it.
it probably can't close the windows because some idiot depapitated their dog or kid that way (same reason you have to pull up not push down on all cars to put the windows up)

I thought the windows had a 'pinch protection' on them... I could be wrong though...

While Im sure I could get used to it, its not worth $500 to me just to have my key in my pocket instead of inserting it into the dash...

Thats a real shame... I really would have been interested in it if the mirrors did fold...

Don't do it AJ. Again, do not do the 328i coupe. This will be just like your Navi incident all over again.

Yeah, considering you regretted not ordering certain things on your last car, make darned sure you get it right this time. I think which one you want will become more clear once you test the new models. I hesitate to say it, but if you only would be happy with the 335i coupe, waiting longer will be the most prudent thing to do. Either until you are comfortable with the finances or until you can find a slightly used one. Sorry to inject some enthusiam dampening into the thread.

Ok... So I have finally made my decision. Placing the order as of this weekend...

Final Vehicle:
335 sedan
SG
Black cow
Aluminum
SP
Prem
HS
Navi

Mods:
Tints
Ipod adaptor
(thats it )

I am going to get a great deal on the car, and confirming all the numbers as we speak. While it would be tempting to mod the 335 like no other, Im going to save more money for other things down the road.

I was all ready to do the coupe, but no one was budging on MSRP ($500-1k at best), and I would be looking at end of Feb-March for delivery .

Im happy to stay with the sedan even though I wont be able to get the montego/saddle combo I wanted in the coupe.

Congrats, AJ!

Also, not that it will make any difference to you, but someone on another thread said that CA on his 07 will roll up the windows and close the sunroof, just not fold the mirrors. Anyway, if that makes any difference, maybe it can roll up the windows and whatnot. But I think you wanted it for the mirrors, which is a big "no."

Im still on the fence. I have until the weekend for making up my mind. I thought the auto fold mirrors was by far the best feature of CA. I could lock my car and fold the mirrors at the touch of a button.

By the way Brian... What is the battery life on a CA key fob? I am in and out of my car quite frequently, and dont want this to be something I change once a month...

Part of me is going to miss the Monaco Blue. I love the look of it when it was clean, but it was a huge pain to keep it that way. Dont worry, My OCD will still be in effect, but I might not have to wash it once a week now...

I will miss the euro xenons, but I would assume something big is coming rather soon for them (Either clears in '08 MY, or some way of clearing them out without replacing the entire unit).

No idea. Mine is a daily driver, as you know, and I always lock/unlock using CA. No indications of low power with the fob so far (going on 5 months). Based on the long life of lithium batteries, I'm guessing at least a year, if not more, maybe two years. A total guess. The owner's manual doesn't address this.

Also, I have had no CA problems, ever. If the reliability of CA is even remotely making you think twice, based on my experience, it is a non-issue.

Its not reliability. Battery life is a concern, but I guess it has a relatively long battery life. I might end up ordering CA...
