So I bought a set of Lux H8 V5 angel eyes for my 2008 e92 335xi and the connector doesn't fit.

Upon examining the old and new bulbs it looks like the prongs on the new bulb are substantially further apart than the prongs on the old bulbs but from everything I can find I bought the correct bulbs.

Is there something I'm missing and I maybe didn't buy the correct bulbs?

That seems like a long way to bend a plug, why would they come from the factory so far apart

They fit just fine thanks

LUX plugs just aren't that great in build. They work fine though. Not sure why nothing has changed, but that's been their issue since their early days. Probably because it ends up not being a big deal, but you'd think they'd change that over time with the premium they have on their bulbs. I've owned three sets -- not because they go bad (well mostly), but because I'm a stupidly curious uber-consumer.

A couple of threads about this type of topic in the past few weeks.
