Style 437M Wheels on an E93 335i

After about a year of research, deliberation, searching forums, craigslist ads, eBay, etc. for ideas on my next wheel and tire set, they went on the car today, and boy do they look stunning.

I'll admit, my last combo of MRR GT7 wheels and Pirelli P1 Cinturato tires looked good, but ever since I removed the OEM 189s that came with the car, I longed for the star spoke look, but lighter weight and forged. 313s were an option but they just didn't wow me. I also like standing out.

I've only seen one E92 wearing these wheels. Forum member richk84 posted the pictures of it from EAS a while back, and it was an inspiration for me all this time. I did also see a Space Grey E92, but nonetheless, both cars I saw were LCIs, and neither was a convertible. So if you have been curious about how a non-LCI 335i convertible in Space Grey would look with these wheels, then without further adieu, the Style 437M "Black" wheel wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (235/35R19 Front, and 265/30R19 Rear). The rear wheels are using a 12mm spacer.

Thank you. I am! They always catch my eye when I see them on the new M cars. The dark alloy look really does play off the Space Grey well.

Looks good, I’ve been deliberating on a set of silver 437’s on my black E92.

They're great wheels. Looks awesome and extremely light for 19s since they're forged.

Just remember, you'll need 12mm spacers for the rear if you do. No spacers necessary for the front.

They look great. I have just bought the same car as you - 09 Space Grey 335i Convertible, and have been researching new wheels for when I have the spare cash.

Couple of questions - did you buy genuine BMW wheels? You mention they are forged so i'm assuming they are genuine. If not, who was the manufacturer? Finally, if you don't mind posting, what did they cost?

Cheers!

That's a lot of tire! I had my fenders shaved for my last setup.

Nice! It's a great car. I bought OEM ones from someone who had them on their M2. You'll see them on the M3/4 forums and Craigslist for anywhere between $1,250-2,000 depending on if they are wheels-only or come with TPMS and tires. I knew I needed different tires from the start, so I found someone who was only interested in selling wheels.

Are the spacers required to clear the suspension? I love the wheels but don't want them to stick out past the fenders.

I believe so, but I'm operating on minimal references. I've only seen a few E90s and E92s with these wheels. The E92 and E93 need it to clear but I don't think the E90 does. Not sure though. The rear wheels are ET40, so with the 12mm spacer they become ET28.

The rears weren't a problem without spacers on my LCI E92... but the fronts were rubbing like crazy, granted there were 255s on the front

These rims look good on the e90 sedan too! Only oem though, the reps just don't have the same depth and aggressiveness to it.

Yeah I saw the M3/4 fitment and shook my head. Way too wide for my needs. M2 would probably bolt right on, but I wanted to try the new PS4S tires.

Yeah I looked into reps, but I wanted a strong, forged wheel since LA's roads suck. I had to replace a wheel in my old set after hitting a pothole dead on at highway speeds.

I really like the fitment of these wheels on your E93. I'm in the market for new wheels for my E90 and may opt for this or the 513M. Leaning more to the 497 of course. I'm just not sure if it flows well with the sedan as it does for your vert.

There's two others and myself who have these wheels and imo look great on the e90. There are a lot of rep style 437m out there so make sure to get the OEM ones as they are forged and have a much more apparent concave look to them.

Hey thanks! Just saw your thread with your car and it looks great. I think you've just sealed it for me.

recently banged my wheels on the curb and threw my alignment all off, but luckily they had a set sitting in parts for me and i got them for a STEAL. Love them on the e90, a little bit tucked in for my taste going from style 95's so I'll also slap a 12mm spacer in the back so they can come out a little more.

Nice setup! They make the E9X look 10 years younger.

Picking up a set of these for my '10 E92, also in LM blue like those photos floating around. You guys who have them, what are your thoughts on 245/35 front and 275/30 rears, Michelin PS4S, no spacers?
