Selling my N54 engine, came off my own car

*Sold!*

Selling a replacement N54 engine., i.e. it'll suit someone that blew or damaged theirs and looking for a healthy motor to swap.

Engine won't come with turbos or any accessories, you move across your old waterpump, HPFP, injectors, coils... etc., from the blown motor to this motor. I am basically selling you a head and block that have been confirmed 110% to be very healthy and in perfect condition (has been compression tested, dyno'd and I got plenty of footage of the motor running, read below).

Price: $2,700
Location: Melbourne (near Essendon 3040)
Freight: Willing to ship, if buyer covers cost and packaging
Contact no.: 0435 378 857

Quick facts about the motor and the life it had:

1- Engine has passed compression testing with flying colours, achieving 153psi (cold motor) consistently across all 6 cylinders, the video of compression testing is linked below, showing results of all 6 cylinders. Officially, BMW says for the N54 anything over 140psi (cold testing) is acceptable, and all 6 cylinders must be within 5psi from each other.

*Two different compression testers were used, I achieved identical results on both.

2- The motor has covered 226k kms, it came off my own car which I've owned for many years, and I covered 107,000km during that time.

3- Religious oil changes every 10,000km with Redline 5W-40 in summer and 0W-40 in winter (0W offers better cold start protection for winter). Redline oils are Ester based, and they cost $160-180 for one fill (6.6L), I didn't spare a cent caring for this car!

4- After I installed catless downpipes on it, I started adding ZDDP additive, ZDDP acts as a friction reducer, and is always used on race cars. ZDDP kills catalytic converters, so I could only start using is after I went catless donwpipes.

What ZDDP does:

4- My car made the most power out of any other stock turbo N54 running 98ulp at Melbourne Dyno Day on 31/08/2019, it made 257rwkW. All three runs were super consistent, with an 0.1kW difference across the 3 runs! More information on the results of that dyno day can be found on this link: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=56

Video of the run in the below linked video, and I can provide a datalog of the run to serious buyer.

5- Last video taken of the engine running, cold start and some revving (after it has warmed up obviously), as you can see, no smoke, no weird noises... etc., butter smooth.

6- Lastly, the asking price is fair given that wreckers sell N54 for $5,000 or thereabouts. I've halved the wreckers price basically, and I've proven that the motor is absolutely in pristine condition which most wreckers can't prove pre-sale.

Kilometers are just a number, caring for the engine is what makes last, and the N54 block and internals are bulletproof, I've never ran piggyback boxes on this engine, never ran E85 on it, I ran E10 twice or so, I cared for this engine like I am keeping it forever, I didn't spare a cent! but unfortunately the time has come to part out my car piece by piece and sell it all

Detailed and annotated pictures of the engine:
