Work in the IT subsidiary of a large energy firm.
Application support which means I get stuffed by ITIL on the one side and impatient users on the other. A right old sh!t sandwich it is. |

These threads are always interesting. I'm a Psychologist for the NHS, which I really enjoy. I'm relatively young (26) and got my qualifications early so have plenty of time to consider private practice etc in the future. Can't see myself ever doing anything else...

I join forums like this where honest people give away lots of personal information (where they live, what they look like, what job they do, when they are going on holiday/car meets) I then gather information on a chosen target befriend them on facebook, then once i have all the information I need I give the nod to my pikey friends who go round the targets house and steal all their cars and belongings. I advertise the items on ebay 1 week before they are stolen, so if the victim searches ebay for the goods they will not look into items listed before the burglary.
Its a tough job but someones got to do it. Note to mod who deleted this first time round: this is a joke (obviously), and is a reminder to everyone not to give away too much information on the World Wide Web! |

Fairly new to this site but thought I'd join this thread...
I sell boats - currently working for a company who are a Beneteau motor boat dealer but also broker used boats. Beneteau's Website Link As you can imagine we are very quiet at this time of year especially with the current weather, the countries economic problems aren't helping much either! Hopefully London Boat Show in January will liven things up a bit... Any of you lot into boats?? |

Jay - only got a wee boat ourselves but grown up with them:
Inlaws have this number (has netting around the handrails so our little boy didn't fall off - not usually there!) A mate runs a 3D visualisation company for yachts but used to work for Bill Dixon - wouldn't be surprised if you know him? We live on the bank of the River Fal - good boating country. You up in Southampton? |

Ahh a Salcombe Flyer! Great little boats, and I grew up around Salcombe Think they are made elsewhere now though... Cant make out the size of the engine but is it large enough for a bit of skiing/wakeboarding?
Your inlaws boat looks like a good long distance cruiser - is it a motor sailor? Has that look about it with the enclosed wheelhouse... I work from Torquay Marina, although Southampton was a good guess as that is where most of the UK's leisure marine industry seems to be based. |

The Flyer has the biggest engine allowed - a two stroke 60. Been GPSed at 40 knots so can tow us skiing no problem. Not much power but it weighs naff all so picks up quickly. Not good in choppy water though!
Inlaws is a Fisher 46, first built for 15 years and one of 3 made of steel. It's a heavy bugger! 180 HP chugger of an engine with Hundestat variable pitch prop. Slow but very sea worthy! |
