Which LCI paddle shifters backing plate?

I have this steering wheel and I would like to upgrade to LCI paddle shifters. I found out there are two types of paddle shifter backing plates. Which one would fit my steering wheel?

They both look very similar but look at the letter "R" and "L"

Version A

Version B

Might actually be the same effectively, just different OE manufacturers. Or different generations (mid-term update?).

Is it? Couldn't tell completely. Thought maybe it was just the light or cuts that didn't matter.

Pretty sure it fits on the steering wheel with no problems. The only one I know that is different is the m3 dct ones, which is what I have. It still bolts up to the steering wheel but it has a very slight gap that's not even noticeable.
