Drying interior after cleaning

My girlfriend wants to rent a rug doctor to clean the couches, so we’re going to clean her car and my Daily. I remember hearing that you can run the car with the heater on but I can’t find anything to back that up.

If you’re cleaning your floormats or trunk liners/carpets just take them out of the car and let them dru
If you’re doing your actual carpets in the interior that can’t be removed ( i mean they can but you have to badically gur your interior to do so) then just roll the windows down and let them airdry if the local weather isn’t an issue

Her car has cloth seats so we were going to clean them. It shouldn’t rain tomorrow but last thing we want is to have wet seats on Monday.

Open the doors and windows and sunroof if you have one and position a high velocity fan or electric leaf blower to blow through the car.

Make sure to vacuum out as much of the water as possible and not to over saturate the surfaces to begin with. If you over saturate the materials and/or fail to let them completely dry you may have to deal with costly mold and mildew issues down the road.

A small air mover or box fan is a great idea to keep air moving through the car until the areas are completely dry.
