Bmw 335is vs 535xi (race predictions)

2012 bmw 335is running mhd stage 2+ with the following mods
93 octane pump gas
CNT Downpipes
Vrsf chargepipe
Pinnacle preformance DCI
RB inlets/outlets
Ngk plugs gapped at 0.22
51k miles on car

2007 535xi
Racing Chip
And some mods
No intercooler
Has 134k miles

Race is from a dig thats why I'm worried.

Can anyone shine in with predictions?
And what can i do to get my 335is to hook better? Launch control launches at 5k so its ass.
I tried to feather the gas and got 3.99 out of it

What does "racing chip" mean? I don't speak Honda.

I think you'll be fine

I would wait for warmer days. There is only $150-200lbs deference but xDrive won't spin the tires. RWD on cold pavement.....Any update on the transmission issue?

The car with the automatic trans #SportMode
Dont think your gonna outshift it if its an Xi and an Auto. If he gets in front it's gonna be hard to walk down.

We've got both. The xi is going to be tough to be from a dead start.

I'd get a LSD, that will solve your dig issue.

As far as racing in the cold weather, probably not a good idea as far as traction is concerned.

Interesting argument in favor of the Xi....but from what I remember, on the BMWUSA website the official 0-60 times for the E9X xi 3 series models were always slower than rwd models.

It's only when the F3X 3 series came out did the opposite happen. xi faster than rwd. I guess it has something to do with the new ZF 8 speed?

I got my money on OP's 335is....it's lighter and slightly more power.

Wait a second...nobody specified what the race is to...60? 100? 1/4 mile? Cleveland? It makes a difference...

Also...are y’all racing for pink slips or personal honor in the eyes of his chick? It matters...

Really? How so? Please enlighten us! Could be 130k of immaculate maintenance vs 50k of complete neglect. Never use mileage as sole factor. Never.

From a roll you'll get him easily but from a dig you're gonna have to play catch up.

the 535xi with an auto is going to be a heavy pig. E90s have shitty autos with slow shift times and low capacity, it's not faster than an MT if you know how to drive..

If we are talking about a dig race in Michigan in the middle of winter the XI will TOAST your car.
