Got a question....what is a fair price to ask for a set of 189 wheels off a 2008 E92 335i 8/10 condition? I have my wheels up for sale, but have no idea what to price them at.

This makes it so much better x10. One of my issues with the ATL SCCA region was a large chunk of the field was out there to do one thing, win and go home. So this means tough guys in their prepped cars were yelling/directing/screaming at first timers, people who didn't know the usual procedures and people simply not rushed to get their time. I have no issues with timed competition, but the atmosphere was always tense, rushed and flat out rude and 4 runs was the max. BMW events were quite the opposite.

Now are you the director of the event or a volunteer? I am very interested in the "finish early" so we can get more runs, or stay late haha. I use to work for a company called Xtreme Measures and we'd always open up the 3 courses at the beginning and end of each day for instructors and ride alongs until people were ready to leave. Is this a definite possibility?

I'm not a director, volunteer, or even an SCCA member haha. I've been racing since 03, but I never know how many events per year I'll be able to make, so I've never joined. I just race CENLA, DELTA, and SOWELA as my work schedule permits. We usually always finish early enough for fun runs. Like I said, the events run pretty smooth, and you can always pay for double entry to make sure you get a lot of runs.

Ok, thanks for the response. I'll just have to come check it out myself. Ugh stupid mid-terms, and lack of alignment and good rear shock mounts. I might get that completed Saturday and head down.

Do you have the registrar's email? I would have to pay at the door.

Most people pay at the event. We never have a lot of pre-registration. Below is a link to the Delta SCCA facebook page. You can register, and find out all the event info there.

Suggestions for a hotel in the $300 a night range near the Mahalia Jackson Theater? Or basically anywhere between there and the French Quarter? Making two trips down over the next few weeks to see Norah Jones and Counting Crows.

Check the Ambassador Hotel. Its on the corner of Poydras and Tchoupitoulas. Walking distance from French quarter, River Walk, Harrah's Casino, Bourbon Street, etc...and about 1.5 miles away from that Theater. They range about 125-175. I've stayed there and its really nice.

I had friends from Alaska come into town and stayed there. They do not have their own parking. You have to leave you car in an open lot in front of the hotel and pay hourly for parking. The staff was friendly but for $300 a night, you could do better. But it is walking distance from Canal street and the French Quarter.

if you dont' mind the 2-3 block walk you can always park in the Hilton parking garage. that what we normally do. Keep in mind there is not a lot of places that allow for self parking... Most of them are valet parking. And you have to pay for it. The Marriott on Canal is super nice...they are at the top end of your budget. And they valet park, but its not free.

check these out...these look in your budge and are pretty good hotels:

I was looking at getting a personalized plate too. I was thinking either "ACEE" , "A.C.E.E" , "A C E E"
