Has anyone had there gearbox remapped on a lci 330d ?

Been speaking to a guy from a remapping company who said it makes the shifts super fast and super smooth and the car is in the right gear all the time coming in/out of bends and roundabouts

Just do XHP stage 2. Cost me about £150 inc buying an android phone. Think JF Automtive wanted £345 for the same thing lol.

I second that. xHP Flashtool is going to be your best bet in terms of quality and pricing. There is an official xHP thread on this software and to say it is well developed is an under statement!

is also suggest you get the gearbox serviced if it aint been done,,im getting all this done before remap etc on my 335d

What phone do you need? I’m only used to apple

android running at least 4.3 but they reccommend 5.0,,mines android but windows os so i cannot get it unless i buy an android with google paly etc

cheapest anywhere is £250,,but you cannot keep changing maps,,and only one user license and no updates

Right I had the gearbox remappad today I had the xhp stage 3 well it’s like night and day not had time to push it to hard but what a difference had mine done by tcm tuning in Portsmouth very professional gentleman’s name is pete very pleased with the service all done and dusted in an hour price was £288 including vat will report back when I’ve had time to play but even normal driving is so much better worth the money just for normal driving if your thinking about getting it done I would do it been reading up about it thinking shall I shall I not but glad I’ve had it done you won’t be disappointed

fgood..if i go down the xhp route then i will buy the license/app etc and do it myself,,then can change between maps etc,,

still enjoying the car as it is with just a remap,,,when i get bored ill get it done..same as subtle mods for the car,,i like to spread them out,,,keeps it interesting
