I have a wedding to go to but there's nothing more important than a rare BMW meet down here so I'll def make it.

As I read your post, Jean, maybe I should order TWO rolls... Also, since I have no idea what I'm about to try to do, what do you mean spray, then squeegee? As in you spray between the vinyl and the car, then squeegee off the car, but there is some residual soapy water on the sticky side of the vinyl ?

Shieldze, maybe we could attempt at the same time and compare notes? Lemme know and if so I'll place my order. BTW, where'd you order from?
The shadowline trim takes a little bit of practice at first. Some hints, keep some tension on both sides (above and below) and try to actually wrap it with tension instead of just setting it down and "squeegeeing" it on the trim. The greatest tool to smoothen it out/adhere it is your finger, the little squeegee i got from them always gave me bubbles if used it on anything except the edges. Use painters tape to tape the end of the vinyl to keep tension in it so it stays straight and doesn't wrinkle up. Also make sure you leave enough room on the sides and cut all seams (if any) straight because they will be noticeable in the sunlight from close. I did the matte black from shadowline and I wouldnt order two rolls unless you are really bad at this kind of stuff because I had enough leftover to do half my trim over again (E90, for the bottom straight trim pieces under the window, i cut the vinyl in half like recommended by bmwshadowline.com). You need to be patient. Honestly, It took me 6-8 hrs to do my trim. But it drastically changes the look of the car. Other than my wheels, my favorite mod to look at ive done so far, makes it so clean.
