FS Custom M-Sport steering wheel with heating (retrim)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I'm selling an OEM BMW M-Sport Steering wheel that was remanufactured with Nappa leather and M Stitching and additional neopren and heating coil from another BMW wheel, in the style of an OEM E9X M3 steering wheel (32-30-2-283-733). It is for a 6-Speed car without paddle shifters.
The reason for such a low price that in a result the wheel heats only to 28-32 C degrees, while genuine heated wheels heat up to 36 C.
So for a fraction of the price of the Ebay refurbished wheels you will get like new M3 style wheel which never was installed on car after retrim. The wheel is sold in a condition like on photos, without airbag, buttons, trim, and signal base bracket and without heated slip ring. All of that should be purchased somewhere else.

Would purchase immediately if it had paddles. Seems like a heated, sport wheel with bolsters and paddle shifter cutouts are one in a million to find. Looking at your post, it looks like you harvest the heating element from some wheels and transfer them to others. I have a heated wheel - if i got a sport wheel or m3 with paddle cutouts is it possible to transfer my heating element and then re wrap it?

I would’ve bought it already. The easiest way is to have a sport heated with paddles rewrapped, the dimples are easy to add, it’s a shame stitched wheels doesn’t do leather work anymore. He’s so talented and he used to be so well priced. Should’ve done mine when i got it quoted
