Same here, get this CD changer coded in (as I fear any dealer coding will wipe the Evolve map) and then I'll be up to Evolve.

Nice, as soon as I get my 335d I will be getting one of these. Just hope its before November.
Are 330d and 335 remapped the same torque but 330d makes it lower down the rev range? |

the 330d makes the same 'peak' torque but it just doesn't carry it on for as long. Thanks Sal |

If we offered the remap today our place would get flooded with these cars - the amount of people waiting is amazing. |

I have a 177 320d, looking at the above offer with interest. Essentially I take it the maps offered are the same - one applied by yourselves, the latter on a box to be done at home. I take it the main advantage with the later is being able to take the map off prior to a trip to the dealer / putting it back if some sort of software upgrade flattens it without a trip back to have it reprogrammed.
Will Evolve cover any issues which BMW refuse to honour under warranty? Cheers Rob |

The maps are the same. Yes the main advantage is being able to send a standard car in for servicing and not having to travel to us to re-apply the map if it is wiped during an ECU update by BMW. Our warranty cover any issues which BMW refuse to honour under warranty. We give you a warranty certificate to this effect if you require it. |

I hope it's not against any rules. But would there be any objection in buying a unit with a fellow 320d (163) owner and sharing the map/unit?
I'm new to all this, want a remap but my funds at the moment can only stretch to about £250... Thanks in advance! |

The evolve switch unit locks itself to the chassis number of the first car it is used on and can not be used on another car until the first car has been returned to standard. |

If, for example you had a re-map on a 335i and you bought a 135i, could you return the 335 to standard and apply the same map to the 135 or would the various different parameters make this impossible or unadvisable? I assume if you got another car with a different engine you could re-use the same switch unit and just pay for a new map (i.e. 375 quid)? |

You can re use the same switch unit and just pay for a new map at a discounted price which would be 20% off RRP or any group buy/special offer price at the time. |

Sal or Imran - any updates on the box for the 35i engine? When released will it give the same results as your custom remaps and what gains are you expecting with the box?
Ive been waiting for this for 6 months now....cant wait |
