And bumper looks brand new. Really happy with the results plus he fixed the sloppy work that LTMW did on my splitters. And he did some extra work without asking for free. Good weekend overall. Hopefully getting the car detailed this week.

On a side note, what's a good tip for an exterior detail? I usually tip $20 sometimes more. Told my friend and he called me cheap. Anyone want to chime in?
Yup, it's hard work (I just spent the weekend detailing my own car) and a huge amount of $ unless you have direct connections to the suppliers. $20 isn't too bad but you still want to keep it at $30-40.

Hes very picky on how things are done. Doesnt believe a machine can clean as good as a human hand. Whenever he's working late and theres a pile of dishes in the sink when I get home I sneakily wash them in the dishwasher without him knowing. Oh Im such a rebel!!

HAHAHA I wash by hand and through in the dishwasher to disinfect as it gets hotter than what I can wash them in.

I always wash dishes by hand although I have a dishwasher.....Then again I do love the microwave so never really enough to use the dishwasher.....

Does that make sense?

Doesnt help that my room mates just run water on the dishes and call them washed even though food is still on them so dishwater is a necessity unless i wanted to double the dishes.

was there something wrong with your bumper?? mann sloppy work from LTMW is something i haven't heard of.. sucks you werent happy with their work. ( i haven't used their service but everyone raves about that place.)

a detailed car must be a good gift to the car haha

well depends on the price of the detail... i think usually people tip like 20-30 percent. since its not like a food place but like actual manual labor service. but yeah totally up to you...

you should be like tell me when to stop. *flipping bills* haha
Yeah something came flying off a pick up truck and hit my bumper. Had to buy new splitters as well. Looks great now though. And it seems like LTMW gets a lot of glowing reviews here but the quality of work from my experience and others were not so great to good. Been there 5 times for various things and had 2 bad experiences. Luckily shocks and springs installs were fine. Had some damage to my new rims when they mounted it. Went to Son Tran for the fix. Still not as bad as the guy who paid for an M3 hood and it ended being a joke for $1500. They just used his original hood.

Exterior detailing is $125, so maybe I'll tip him $30. It depends on how good of a job he does. And was flipping singles all night Saturday after HIN. Had to cheer the group up after the disappointment.

Hope you're over the insomnia. New week, fresh start.

Good point. $30 it is.

Paper plates. Still use them because I hate to wash dishes. Use those Starbucks plastic cups too. Dishes and glasses are for display for me at least. Usually eat out anyways so not much of an issue.

I love waking up for school and leaving the house as usual at 9:15 only to discover as I turn the car on that something is misfiring and there is probably a hpfp failure...

Why not try to buff it out first and see how bad it looks? Touch up paint? Most likely if you take it to a shop they'll charge you for the whole bumper. From my experience you're looking at $300 to $500. I just did my bumper and really happy with it. It was less than $300 and it turned out great.

My front bumper needs a respray, the track days are taking a toll.

And some jackhole dented my right rear quarter panel.
